I caught Sa-Ra Creative Partners and Benji B at Gramaphone last night and, surprise surprise, the club got “thick”. What does that even mean? Shiiiiit. It means don’t wear a toque when Sa-Ra is in the building, I suppose. After a typically stellar set from Benji, the gang from Hollywood opened up with “Traffika” and everybody pretty much lost it. On the way back to my mate’s flat after the show, I bumped into these Japanese dudes on Brick Lane, they were drunken and disorderly, and I think they probably ended up sleeping on the street – always a good look if you’re an out of towner.
